Operational Amplifiers
Today we learned about Operational Amplifiers (op amps). We learned about the different pins they have and what they are used for. The various examples and the lab did a great job of solidifying these topics.

| As our first example, we were given a regular inverting amplifier and were asked to find the output voltage. Using Nodal analysis (and adding a voltage point V_1), we were able to find the voltage to be -4V. |

| Another example, just like the last amplifier circuit. We were able to find that the gain V_o/V_s (V_2/V_1 in our circuit) was 9/1 = 9. Therefore, the voltage voltage equaled to 9V and the current I_o = .362A. |

| Indeed we were able to find that the output voltage was very close to our calculated voltage of -2.08V when running positive 1 volts through the circuit. |
